Thirty-One (31%) of all eligible Black, Indigenous, and/or People of color in South King County have gotten their vaccine. The Equity in Education Coalition team (www.eec-wa.org) is committed to getting the vaccine out to our families and communities.

While we understand vaccines are in limited supply and how many doses Seattle gets and who gets them is determined by the state and federal government — we need to help our communities get the access they need to this life-saving vaccine.

We also know that once the eligibility opens up, the hunger games to get the vaccine will begin again.

We are currently pre-registering all adults (and in some cases 16+ Young Adults depending on the vaccine).

It is critical that our communities get this vaccine, so we can best combat hospitalizations and deaths for our most vulnerable groups.
